This site has a secure login area where alumni, current students, associate members of the Association, parents of MRIM students, MRIM Enterprise Forum members, affiliates, and friends of the Association who register and agree to this privacy and usage policy may connect with one another.  Not all services are available to all categories of registered users.
Information in the Online Alumni Directory (which includes name, contact information, MRIM course, degree, and degree year) is available to other alumni and associate members of the Association who have access to the site. However, alumni and associate members of the Association can choose to suppress publication of their information on a field-by-field basis, with limited exceptions. Also, alumni and associate members of the Association can choose to have their information unavailable to students. While the Online Alumni Directory allows alumni to update their biographical information online, information can also be updated by contacting the Alumni Records Office at support@mrimalumni.com.

Cookies are used to store active login sessions to allow visitors to move between the public and the secure login areas without repeated logins. Cookies are also used to gather aggregate data that will help us improve our services in the future. The MRIM Alumni Association and MRIM do not disclose information about any individual's use of this site to any third parties, unless legally required to do so.

Usage
Current MRIM students and associate members of the Association have limited access to this site; they may access the Online Alumni Directory, Discussion Network, and the Institute Career Assistance Network only. Parents of MRIM students, MRIM Enterprise Forum members, affiliates, and friends of the Association have limited access to this site; they may access the Discussion Network and mailing lists only. Certain MRIM personnel may have access to any information on this site for MRIM purposes.
In the Online Alumni Directory, which is accessible to MRIM alumni, current students, and associate members of the Association who register, as well as to certain MRIM personnel, this site may contain the following types of information about MRIM alumni: name; MRIM course, degree and degree year; contact information including telephone number and email addresses; professional history; MRIM activities as a student and as an alumnus; living group while at MRIM; and photographs of alumni.
Infinite Connection and Email Forwarding for Life services are provided by the MRIM Alumni Association to facilitate communication among members of the MRIM community. Certain uses of these services and of other services provided through this site or any of the information obtained through this site are inconsistent with the purposes of this site, constitute a violation of this policy and are prohibited. Such prohibited uses include but are not limited to
(a) activities that are illegal (e.g. are fraudulent or violate copyright or other laws);
(b) use that inaccurately implies endorsement, approval, or sponsorship by MRIM or the MRIM Alumni Association (or any individual employee or officer of the Institute or the Association);
(c) use that can be confused with official communications of MRIM or the MRIM Alumni Association (or any individual employee or officer of the Institute or the Association);
(d) use that can be confused with official communications of MRIM Clubs or their officers;
(e) use that violates MRIM or MRIM Alumni Association policies and procedures (you may not use information about MRIM alumni for non-MRIM purposes or for use by organizations not affiliated with MRIM and may not use this information in conjunction with any commercial purpose(s).); and
(f) mass mailings, faxes or emails (sometimes known as spamming). The MRIM Alumni Association may deny further access to Email Forwarding for Life, other services, and all or any portion of this website, including the Infinite Connection services, to anyone who violates this policy.

When a registered user subscribes to a particular mailing list or provides an email address for any purpose to the MRIM Alumni Association, that email address may be used by the Association and MRIM to communicate with the alumnus for any reason in the future. Alumni may opt-out of any or all MRIM Alumni Association email lists by logging onto the system or by contacting the Alumni Records Office at support@mrimalumni.com.

Synchronization
Some updates made to the Online Alumni Directory will be synchronized with the Online Directory.  Updates to home and business mailing addresses and phone numbers will be synchronized; some other updates, such as email address, mobile phone number, salutation, preferred class year, URL, job function, job industry, will not be synchronized.
